Really good and pleasant staff, they made my day!!
The rooms were neat and with shower, a nice breakfast, as example. The location of the hotel was stunning, in the region. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Lake Geneva...

Property was absolutely charming and great, we greatly enjoyed this place.
Everything was great from staff, who were kind, to the beautiful location. The breakfast was good, all meals were different. Location: the hotel was very close to the train station, the bus terminal and train station and the city center of thonons les bains. Tried some takeout specials at Jazzy Rock Cafe, luckily it was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue. Our experience here was really great👍

Convenience to town centre and start of a long distance walking trip. Staff were polite, friendly and courteous
Basic facilities with a shared shower, essentially somewhere to stay for the night rather than for a holiday.

The hotel's central location in the heart of the old town is a big plus. the room was well-equipped with central heating, a work desk, and a TV. - Its proximity to the railway station, beautiful lake, and city center adds to the convenience.

Quaint - close location to both train station, & buses, & cafes.
Misunderstood from booking that we did not have an ensuite room, we did have a barely acceptable toilet & basin off the bedroom, & a shower down the hall. The walls were extremely thin we could hear every movement of the occupants in the room next door. As it had previously been a Logis we expected it to be of Logis standard.

City centre location, parking in underground secure parking only 100m away. Friendly staff and price
The pillows smelt as if they had been in a smoking room.

The room here was pretty clean, and they have public parking available which is convenient. the bed was super comfy, like sleeping on a cloud! the room itself was modern and really clean, it even had a shower and a hairdryer in the bathroom. All of this for just £72 - not bad at all! 💫

Dirty place!!! It's not a hotel, maybe just hostel. The information on the Booking com. Is following: "Comte Rouge's comfortable rooms are all equipped with a tv and a private bathroom." In reality there are no private bathroom, even on the floor. We had a room on the second floor, but the shower was on the 3-rd floor. In our room we had a tiny toilet which closed only with the curtain. Our friend had room with only bidet inside, but the toilet was on the floor. Very strange management. Rooms are not clean, it was cold in room. Dirty walls in the rooms & corridors. Don't belive in a pictures. It's much more different.

Very near (must 2min walk) to Thonon Bus Terminal and Train station. Bus terminal brings you to Supermarket, Cora and Decotholon for great shopping. Nearby Chinese restaurant serves cheap and good Chinese buffet and also another supermarket nearby which opens on weekends too. Easy to travel to Geneva and Evian to connect to other parts of Switzerland. Hosts were very polite, friendly and helpful.
Its near the mainroad, therefore on weekends when there were drunk riders it can get a little nosy in the middle of the night. On weekdays its perfectly quiet.

We were thrilled to find that it was in close proximity to several world-famous ski areas in the Alps. The access to the 12 ski resorts of Portes du Soleil with a single ski pass made it incredibly convenient for our family to explore the slopes. Our children particularly enjoyed the extensive range of nautical activities available on the lake, including fishing, windsurfing, and sailing. With so many options, our trip was filled with fun and adventure.
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.

I liked that it was a family business and a family atmosphere and that it was close to my business destination.

Price was very good. The linen was very clean. Breakfast good. Close proximity to station.
Arrived on Sunday and had to wait for hotel to open for a couple of hours. The room looked as though it needed a lick of paint but bedding very clean.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
